Precision Heat Cycle Testing: Advanced Systems for Electrical Circuits

Our Advanced Heat Cycle Test Systems are purpose-built to regulate the temperature of a conductor or low-impedance electrical loop, replicating current loading conditions typical in electrical circuits. This controlled heating process involves employing the test loop as the secondary winding of a current transformer for inductive heating. The temperature of the loop is measured directly by using a K-type thermocouple probe in contact with the loop’s conductor.

Dual Configurations for Comprehensive Testing: Low Voltage and High Voltage Test Systems

We offer these systems in two configurations: low voltage test systems and high voltage test systems. The low voltage test system employs a single loop of the conductor passing through the required number of CT carts to achieve the necessary power level. For high voltage test systems, we utilize the low voltage loop alongside an additional loop passing through coupling carts. These carts segregate the low voltage and high voltage sections of the system while ensuring isolation. Upon the high voltage loop passing through the coupling carts, the desired voltage is applied to the test loop via an AC high pot, while the required current is generated using the Load Cycle Test Set. Moreover, our system allows for performing Impulse tests on the high voltage section of the setup, ensuring comprehensive testing capabilities for a variety of scenarios
